The wineries of Provence are among the oldest in France. The wines from the Luberon and Ventoux regions are very pleasant and many producers can be visited in the surrounding area. Mazan, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Apt, Ménerbes (wine and truffle museum, corkscrew museum).
Gigondas, Vaqueyras and the famous Châteauneuf-des-Papes area are definitely worth a visit.
